I was watching Discovery Chanel this morning. Two teams Men V Girls had to build a raft and follow a course. The blokes built a raft with a Wales Tail devise for propulsion. It easily beat the girls with just one man gently working the tail. Whilst the girls were paddling like buggery. Now a wale or Dolphin can easily do 20 or more knots. Would this not be much better than jet drives??

I think you could have problems with this. Would you use a single whale drive or twin dolphin drives? If the whale died you would be buggered, but if one dolphin died you would still have one to get you home. also what about cost? how much does one whale eat as apposed to two dolphins. Plus who would feed them when you are back in the land of real men? Also the do gooders would have a moan at you. Could be a good idea but needs refining IMHO.

Oh. I dont think they used a real whale. Just a lump of wood that gave the same action. Twin dolphins would however be much better.

Behave you lot. No, this looked like a big piece of hard board that flopped up and down like a tail. Frog fruster sounds about right though.
