waeco fridge is not switching on

my recently installed waeco fridge is not working, Can it be beacuse gas has leaked from the sensor/thermostat attached to the evaporised to the control knob? Electricity is going to the compressor. thanks

How thick are the wires you've used for the electrical connections? Ours wouldn't fire up initially until we upped the cable size to something like 4mm diameter.

It was working till yesterday, but today by mistake I kinked the thermostat sensor which is attached to the evaporiser and gas leaked from it, and I don't know if the sensor is to switch the compressor on or off.

It will certainly need repair and regass if the gas has escaped. The sensor may have 2 wires connected to it. These could be connected together to prove that the switch is working correctly inhibiting the operation due to incorrect pressure. good luck olewill
