VP2003T Coolant flow direction

The water heat exchanger is connected by three pipes at the rear (the 2x raw water and one coolant) and one pipe at the front which is connected to the coolant circulating pump. Does anyone know which direction the water flows through this front pipe? Into the h/e or out of it?

OKay, I think I've worked this out thanks to Marineparts diagrams. The flow is from h/e to pump through this for's pipe - the pipe enters the centre of the centrifugal circulator so must be an input to the pump. Let me know if you disagree plse.

The diagram towards the end of the workshop manual on Bluemoment http://www.bluemoment.com/manuals/volvo_penta_2002_worksh.pdf shows the connections.

The hose #7 is the hot water flow from the engine to the HE

hose #8 is the cooled water return to the pump

That diagram isn't relevant to the 2003T, which has a different heat exchanger system.
