VP Easy Connect

Is anyone here using VP Easy Connect? I have been having lots of problems with it. It finds then loses the Chassis ID without which it will not show any maint. info. Is this a common problem? I am using Android which might give a different experience to ios. I have had other difficulties with it in the past but this is the current one. Anyone?

Don’t know too much about the VP version…but I know that on the mercruiser mercury version, you need a terminator resistor cap on the open ended plug on the loom. If it has one.
