Completed the refurb of my VP 2003 today, started first time despite my worries and seemingly no issues or leaks!

Just a post to say many thanks to the forum panel for all the good advice over the past months for this - much appreciated:encouragement:

Well done,I'm just about to rebuild a 2003t ,where did you get the parts ?
I'm trying to find some piston rings at reasonable money.

The VP parts I needed came from volspec, but there are others also. But it was not a main engine rebuild, just replacement / refurb of all periphery parts such as both water pumps, electrics, hoses, fuel lines, exhaust hose etc. Encountered some problems on the way for which I received welcome advice.
