Just driven past the old Vospers site opposite Port Solent.
Does anyone know what is being built there, a sign at the front mentions a marine park?

There are a number of players who are looking at moving their businesses there, should prove to be a useful marine site and easier to get to than the Hamble or Gosport.

Hello to one and all,

Having seen this post I thought I would introduce myself and tell people the site is indeed up and running as a marine site and that we here at Forty Plus Four are the on site yacht brokers.

We aim to offer people some incredibly competitive storage rates while their boats are for sale and also to offer boats for sale pre surveyed saving time during the sale process and also making sure that sales don't fall through because of minor survey issues.

Trafalgar Wharf has been set up as a marine site, the aim is to attract marine related businesses to the area and run a full boatyard and lift out facility.

We have already had several marine companies move on site including brokers, outboard engine repairs and a stainless steel welder/polisher and soon several other companies will join us.

With both workshop and office space available to rent we are attractive to a wide variety of marine based companies.
