VolvoTAMD 41b oil change

Hello,
Just about to an oil change and the chaps at MrEuro have said that Gulf 15/40. API/SL/CF is ok for the 15/40 CD grade in the workshop manual.

Any oil boffs out there at all I think its the same container that I used last year.

I always thought Volvo's of that era require VDS3 or 4 spec. Easily available from budget to expensive.

Superfleet Supreme is ok.

Ebay have VDS3 for under £50 for 20 litres. You might need a couple of litres to top up if your's is similar to my TAMD40b's!

Its in now and I have just dropped the hatches so it must be G+T time!! Both went straight up to 55psi so all seems ok. Not going to be a long season so should be cool.
Blooming 7 hrs two engines oil and fuel filters perhaps I need two G+T's

Yup slow eh. Actually changed both engine oils, changed both gearbox oils. Found a bloomin leak on the tail shaft on one aaaaah. Changed the air filters and fixed the stripped thread on the fixing. Changed all the fuel filters. Drank coffee and eat ginger nuts. Bilge cleaning tomorrow yeuk.

Forcast is all over the place so leave date open.
