Volvo TAMD75 Service Costs

Anyone got any experience of servicing costs on TAMD75's. They require a 100hrs service & apparently a replacement of the transmission oil. Have estimate of £1500 + VAT, which sounds expensive to me - or am I being overly price sensitive.

I am in Southampton, so am interested in any recommendation of who to use to maintain the Volvo warranty and still get a good price.......?

sounds a bit to high. its the parts that add up. we get volvo to use our own oil etc ( same spec ) and that saves us about 300 quid

You can get fully spec'd volvo oil for about £5 odd a gallon. Its the same oil that some supply for £18 per gallon.

Make sure you maintain the Volvo warranty, 75,s can be expensive without.

Only the STB went pop - totally rebuilt, so want to make sure warranty is maintained.
