Volvo Switch

I recently had a Volvo igntion switch fail, one other on a boat I know of has also failed. The failure consisted of the switch leaving the coil switched on, resulting in flat battery.
Has anyone else had similar experiance? (PMs welcome)

I had a Volvo ignition switch fail on me this year which was changed reluctently by the dealer under warrenty. I initialy recieved the bill for supply and fitting £225.00!!
My switch had failed in the heater detent due to the internal spring failing. Mel.
