Volvo stern drive joystick control

It seems Volvo are rolling out their version of the merc Axius system, anyone had a go or know anything about it ?

I just read that a new version of the D3 is launched,
the upgrade includes ao:
full electronic controll
(the actual D3 has mechanic controlls for throttle and gear)

as the D3 is quite popular in twin sterndrive setups,
I guess they did this with the joystick / axius like system in mind

The system has been on the Volvo Dealer website for over a year along with the setup procedure for the workshop!
Just that Volvo have not actively marketed it, the kit is an add on for twin sterndrive setups, you throw away the existing steering system and servo cylinder and mount two seperate actuators which are controlled by electronics.

Volvo market an electronic control system that will fit any boat and any engine. It sends a signal to actuators in the engine room which normally use a very short morse cable to control the throttle/gear linkages.
The new D3 has a full electronic throttle with no morse cables as per D4/D6 etc.

Also the only similarity between the old D3 and the new D3 is the name, it is an entirely new engine from top to bottom.

I have twin d3 , old version 2004, I have bought the vetus electronic controls for throttles and gearbox for twin engine, twin station.Kit specified was 1 control box, two actuators for gears and i/o boards for throttles but no-one seems able to connect the i/o boards for the throttles and Volvo won't help, has anyone done this?
