Volvo spares

I know we all know Volvo spares are expensive, today I was charged just under £2 for one of the screws that hold the cover on the MD2 raw water pump.
I wonder if Volvo would give me a free engine should I have to re engine, as they will soon make up the cost on the spares!
Bukh uses the same pump and they charge less than £1. Just in case anyone else needs one.
What a stupid posting this is.

Dunno. My Bukh's 21 years old, and I know several a lot older.

I changed the screws on my MD7B for stainless hex. head earlier this year.

They gave me them.

But that was from a nut and bolt stockist.
