The watching army sets off, you had to keep your wits about you out there.

Excellent pics - what it is to have the right connections /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hope you weren't helming whilst taking pic 4 /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif - I had enough trouble controlling the perishing boat /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

My best pic was when you had all left us in peace /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

no, I got to watch, for a while , owner of company I was working for , Marine matters , was helming, to give me a break as I was going to be helming for the sunset bunch, I took the helm from Cowes.

I was the one handing coffee to our poor rib driver and passengers. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

No where near as dramatic as Powerskippers (There again I dont have a chase boat /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif) but the Volvo start from another angle, starting with ABN Amro 'resting' in Gunwarf on the Thursday evening.

Glad you enjoyed it so much Stephen, how was the restart with your guests on board? I have some pics of me out sailing on ABN ONE but not on my laptop yet so cant post them at the moment. Will do when I can though.

It was, irrespective of the restart a great sail from and then back to Chichester.
Our guests loved it.

It was a great buz flying the ABN Amro flag from our rigging.

We now also own 2 scale models of ABN Amro 1 + 2!
