Hello,
I have a problem with the above tacho.The tacho worked fine but there was no reading on the hour meter.I followed the proceedure one of the members suggested,dismantling,cleaning the ribbon cable and associated socket. I thought I would try it before replacing the hour meter display.After re-assembling, the needle of the tach now goes full scale and stops there and the original hour meter problem has not been rectifyed.I replaced the needle at zero revs after dismantling and reassembling.Do you think the tacho is now beyond repair? Any feedback would be gratefully received.
