Volvo penta Thermostat.

Does anybody have a spare new thermostat that they want to part with?
Its to fit a volvo penta MD6A, Part number 875796, Everywhere iv'e tried
was found to be out of stock...

I'm replacing my VP 2010 thermostat, the old one is sat on the bench, so i could take some measurements to see if it fits, or even send it to you FOC, as I shan't need it.

An MD2010 is indirectly cooled isn't it? If so the thermostat will be for the wrong temperature ( higher) even if it fits.
MD6A one opens at 60C

Thats the right temp but they dont look much alike in the diags

Yes I tried keypart, tricket marine, james troop, and a couple of European companys.
i'll give poole marine services a call on Monday.

Thanks vicS, I'll give them a try and see when they're due in.
These Thermostats seem to be the most expensive in the volvo penta series.
