Volvo Penta Tachometer LCD display not working.........

....Good evening, I have researched the fix on Youtube and you can buy a replacement LCD display on Ebay for £22. My question is, as the engine still records the hours (if the display is broken) is there anywhere else to see the hours displayed, or telling what they are ? (I am thinking the answer is no but I thought I would ask)

The engine hours are stored in the tacho.

Replacing the lcd is easy, buy from these people

.....thanks for the info, I will order one and replace. I am just lazy by nature and thought they maybe another way of getting the hours.
