having problems getting hold of a replacement tacho
ad41 vp engines 1990 Any thoughts please

If your looking for tacho without hours clock there is one i know of in my local VP dealer ( or was before xmas). Give them a call.....Felton Marine in Eastbourne 01323 470211. Or if not try ASAP. http://www.asap-supplies.com/

In my last boat I had the repaired. Now I went and got 2 new VDO ones who make them for volvo anyway and it cost less than one new volvo tach

I also got 2 new VDO ones off ebay for less than half the cost of volvo ones

I'm also looking for a tacho; Volvo p/n is 864-022; do you know how to cross reference to VDO?

No sorry. I just bought 2 with the same dimentions as mine, they fitted & worked fine. If I remember correctly I had to change the electrical connection fittings which is a 2 minute job.they had calibration instuctions with them but did not need to be altered. Engines were AD41b's boat was a Fairline 33
