volvo penta md2030 spare parts glow plugs

hi this is gwennols from uk here but had to re register in croatia under this name i am desperately looking for some help
i need a glow plug for md2030 volvo penta here in croatia i willhave to wait for 7-10 days if i order one i believe that they are actually a car diesal part under BERU or BOSCH but am looking for either the car make it would be or serial number
anything that might be of help heres hoping

if there is such a thing as a motor factor i would take the old one and ask for them to match it up, its only the length that will matter, from memory they are bosch.

will have a look at mine this weekend and let you know

Hi,

We have an MD-2030 aboard 'Shangri-La' also.

The engine is only marinized by Perkins (when Perkins sold it, it was the M-30), based on an ISU block. I've seen the same engine mounted on a gennie (alternator for the picky!) for powering roadside traffic detour arrows and also on large pumps. You might try going to a shop that specializes in 'small' construction equipment like this and have a look-see in their parts dept.

About 5 years ago I had problems starting my newly installed Volvo 2030. Admittedly it had been sitting in my garage for a couple of years . All 3 glow plugs were duds.
