Hi Everyone,

I replaced the thermostat on my MD2020 engine last weekend and was glad to reassemble the heat exchanger and alternator. Fired her up to realise that I stupidly forgot to tie back the cooling hose taking coolant from the heat exchanger to the pump and had the belt practically cut the hose in two ?. Now I’m trying to find a replacement hose but having no luck as none of the online retailers seem to stock the right part number. Is there a generic engine hosing that I can use for this or does it have to be the right diameter, length etc?

thanks in advance

Aren’t you looking for an 861926? And strictly speaking isn’t it from the pump to the heat exchanger? Pedantic I know, but … ??

Golden Arrow have seem to have them.

Yes, it says 2010 but I typed in 2020 and can’t believe it’s a different part … even though it is Volvo ?

Thanks very much, Goldenarrow didn’t come up on my google search and they have the part I need. It’s actually part no 3580248, the coolant hose that comes out of the bottom of the heat exchanger attached to the freshwater system water pump. Appreciate the advice!
