Hi - I was fitting new marine grade fuel hose to my MD2010 and ended up snapping the 8mm hose connector off the Leak off Pipe / Injector Fuel Return Pipe.

A new one from Volvo Penta suppliers is over £100 delivered to N. Ireland - and Parts4Engines don't supply the 2 cylinder one - the 3 cylinder one they supply is only £23 but the spacing between the cylinders is bigger due to a bigger bore.

Would anyone have a working spare for a MD2010 - 2 cylinder. It looks something like this:

I've read about a few people making them up themselves - but I'm not sure what this type of fitting is to order one? Anyone know the name of it - its not a banjo bolt like the one on the far left... anyone know what it's called???

Thanks for your help! Ricky

Could you get the hose connector brazed back on?

This is what I did when I broke mine. I did buy a new one as well though as it took some time to find someone with brazing skills, and then I kept the brazed as a spare.

I no longer have my MD2020, but I do still have the brazed spare, to which the OP is welcome, PM me if you would like it, happy to post for free, put a few pound in your local RNLI box.

Thank, that would be very much appreciated! I'll PM you now.

Either that or I’ll silver solder it back together (which is how I fixed mine!) if you post it to me. A few moments work and arguably just as good as brazing. (I just happen to have some silver solder and flux and a decent blow torch kicking around. ) Mines still going strong after more than ten years.
