Volvo Penta KAD 44 Circulation Pump Rebuild

Hi,

We are rebuilding the circulation pump for my KAD 44 as the shaft had snapped. The rebuild kit, part number 876794 has arrived but the impeller looks different.

I've done some searching online, and from what I can see the one that has arrived matches all the pictures I see. We are a bit unsure which impeller to use, the old or new.

In general, parts get upgraded with each revision.
I would use the new impeller.

Pump was re designed with a different shaft and nose coupling , this is to cover the 31/32/41/42/44/300 range , you then buy the pulley separately to suit model requirements.
I do have a good used pump if you require, uk post only .

Thanks VP, my engineer has fitted the rebuild kit and used all the new parts, Not on boat yet. Should I expect a problem ? - think the pulley won’t press onto the new shaft ?
