Volvo penta hose size

Could someone tell me the diameter of the hose between the water pump and the heat exchanger on a D2 40f. I am not near my boat, and can't seem to find it online.

Hose isn't expensive and its always handy to have odd lengths so why not hedge your bets and get a couple of metres of a different sizes.

I have a similar question regarding the size of the seawater hose between anti-siphon and heat exchanger on a D2-40F. The heat exchanger nipple seems to be about 20mm on the flat and 22 on the lip. Would one buy 19mm hose (which seems to be the standard) and then stretch it on?
