Volvo Penta EVC warning

Hi All,

I have twin Volvo Penta D4260 and one of the displays are showing a fault.

Both engines start and run fine at the moment and I was wondering what this fault means.

I do not have the manual to read the codes to see what is gone wrong

MID 164. PSID. 232. FMI 5

Any help would be appreciated

What would you recommend to spray on EVC connector pins / plugs which might help?

Problem sorted.

It’s something that I did not know and I’m not sure I can explain it properly but if you try to start the engines before the EVC is ready it will show a fault . I started both engines before the display came on and hence the fault reading. I had to completely turn off everything, including the main battery switches and reboot after 5 min and the fault is gone .
