Volvo penta dpg transom shield torques

Hi folks just wondering what the torque settings are for the transom shield bolts when sticking it back on. 6 bolts to compress the round seal. Normal 12mm looks to be 80nm but at that torque the shield is not flush with the transom.

First find out what grade of nut and bolt you are going to use.
Consider using a coating on the threads this has 2 benefits.
1-stops the stainless steel goring up and locking up.
2 when tightening up any threads without any kind of lubricant will cause more friction therefore the torque that you may think it is will be a lot less (coefficient)

Thanks, will pm you. I used aluminium anti sieze on the shield side of the thread and some thread lock blue on the engine bay side.
