The manual recommends an oil to specification API CD. This has been obsolete for more than 10 years but you can still buy oil to this spec from many car parts shops. It tends to be produced by less well known manufacturers, but I have not found this to cause problems. Alternatively, Yanmar's oil is still to API CD but I don't know the manufacturer. Oil to API CD by major manufacturers is still sold in French supermarkets.
API CD has been superseded by API CF-4. Oil to this spec is made by all majors. Don't use an oil to a higher spec, e.g. API CG or more. It may lead to bore wear problems.
The engine manual recommends an SAE15W/40 oil to API CD specification. By today's standards, this is a relatively basic oil spec so there's no need to take out a mortgage! Whether the container has a big brand logo or not, your choice. I have a Penta MD2030 and it get bathed in own-brand oil purchased from the car accessories people who also sell bicycles.
