I have 2011 twin Volvo Penta D6 435hp on a Sealine F42. I’m told that the end caps on the heat exchangers which are plastic, are starting to leak and need replacing. This is a big job with removal of heat exchanger and oil cooler to replace the end caps. Parts quote £1800 + £2k labour for both engines. I read somewhere that Volvo Penta had a service issue/campaign for this fault and have covered some repairs when under guarantee. Does anyone have any knowledge of the problem or experience of costs involved to fix? Thanks in advance
