Hello, I was just the other day fitting the new protective cover for the ram piston on my steering rams. Under the fitting the pistons was pushed all the way into the rams and now I cannot get them to extend again. Today I am debating if I should start the engine to see if that helps but my trials of turning the wheel does not work. The wheel seems to be stuck just like a car steering when the enigne is off. This is why I am debating if this could be related to servo "preassure". I am far outside my area of competence.
Anyone with any good ideas here? I got someone suggesting to loosen the hydraulics on the ram (not disconnect but loosen, just to release preassure) but then I have to air the system afterwords, and this is yet another task that I incompetent to do ...
