Good day Gentleman,
Greetings from Indonesia!
Need your assistance with a VP DP-SMTD3 drive here. We are in the process of changing the gimbal bearing and prop shaft seals ( oil and water mixture), however having difficulties taking the prop shaft housing off.
As you can see from the picture, we made our own tracker tool which supposedly should work. Based in the workshop manual it should just be pulled out?
Is this correct? The single drives seems to have threads and must be turned anti clockwise to pull out, but to my understanding it is not the same with the duo prop?
Any advice or DIY's to help us take out this prop housing? We have tried pulling but it is very hard and no movement, The straining ring (the gear look-a-like ring) in front of it is already off and you could see the threads in the picture, also the bearing strainer ring is already off.
Whats the correct procedure to tackle this? Opening it by turning anti clockwise also nothing happens.
Help appreciated!
Thank you & Cheers
Christopher
