Volvo Penta D1-30 EVC - AUX Alarm goes off even though no AUX alarm fitted!

Hello,
The title pretty much says it all. A few seconds after starting the engine the AUX alarm sounds and I have to cancel the alarm everytime. There is no auxiliary sensor fitted. Not a terrible problem in itself but "AUX" is permanently displayed in the screen and I'm concerned that if an over heat or oil pressure problem occurs, would it override the fact that the AUX alarm has been silenced?
Any help to resolve this appreciated

For peace of mind until you get to the bottom of this can you simulate a high temperature or low oil pressure alarm by shorting the sensor to the engine block to see if if causes the appropriate response

hello, i hav the same problem. the alarm goes continously and yhe panel shows AUX. did you manage to solve the problem?
