Hi all.
I have the engine out and am replacing the damper plate and output shaft bearings and seals, but noticed the flywheel cover has a flat-headed plug at the top. I understood that when putting the shaft back into the flywheel cover, I had to ram the thing full of grease so am guessing it is to relieve the pressure of doing this when pushing in the shaft and seals.
Anyone know the true purpose of this plug, please? Number 12 in the diagram below..
Many thanks in anticipation!
