Hi,has anyone out there experienced the same problem as me .The coolant level keeps dropping in my engine and we can't see where it is going. Last week we topped up the heat exchanger and the expansion tank and the engine ran fine and no loss of coolant could be found but after returning to the boat a week later the level had dropped in the heat exchanger but not the expansion tank. There is no water mixing with the oil and no pressure showing in the coolant when the engine is running so it is not looking like a head gasket failure.Has anyone else had this problem and could give us some pointers in what to check next. Also does anyone know where I could get a workshop manual from as I've scoured the net and can't locate one.
The engine is a Volvo Penta TAMD60c.

It is not uncommon for engines to have their own happy level and dump any excess but you would normally see coolant expelled check hose from expansion bottle by putting it in open top bottle well above expected water level

Hello.I have the same engine and I think I have the same problem...How did you solve it...?Thank you

I have the same engines...for me it was the raw water pump (port engine fortunately so easy to access) and the engine overheat alarm went off.
