Volvo penta 290dp tilt trim issue please help !

Hi all , so I thought I was near getting my recently acquired falcon 23 spc in the water but now have a tilt problem , leg rams are stuck and will not come down, there's a squeeling noise when I try to raise the leg and nothing at all when I press switch the other way... I'm thinking possibly a relay has gone or maybe there is a sensor type switch ?
Any help would be so appreciated...

Almost certainly the relays. Sometimes you can get the last bit of life out of then by giving the contacts a clean. OEM relays are about £50 but you can buy pattern parts for £10 or so see http://www.yachtboatparts.com/volvo-penta-power-trim-relay-854357-6136-p.asp.

That is a little bit misleading showing a genuine relay only to be sent a copy part, should really show the part you will receive.

I think you can swap the relays over which would make the leg go down but not up. In any case clean up the contacts and electrical connectors which may solve the problem.

I agree but you can select the OEM part in the drop down. Feel free to point this out to them!

Put some vaseline you on the contacts too.

Thank you . Bit confused as thought mine was just a 290dp but these models advertised on link are dpe dpg etc hmmm
