volvo penta 260B

I have a volvo penta 260B petrol engine(260HP)engine no is, CU 59650 .Trouble is I am having difficulty getting info on this engine unit even thru my local dealers.
If anybody can help I am looking for workshop manual,instruction book,plus the standard maint parts,and their part numbers, for servicing the unit.
oil filter
petrol filter
impeller for pump
plugs
points
Also some part numbers for the 290 leg i.e anodes ,seals.
Thanks for any help that anybody can give .I am just outside of Dublin ,Ireland.

Give www.volspec.co.uk a try they are very helpful IMHO and they do mail order.

What block is it based on. Ford V8 or GMC V8. I see from your profile that you are in Eire. Now I'm not 100% sure, but I'd say that Eire does'nt exactly overflow with American car spares outlets. If you go to www.realsteel.co.uk you should find all that your looking for, for around half the volvo price.

I'm well p***ed today. Ordered a raw water strainer cap and an expansion tank cap from Vilevo and got charged £50. One looks like a jam jar lid, the other is a bloody rad cap!

Wha'dya mean "I'm always playing with this engine" its the only way to get it to run!
