Currently looking at replacing my Volvo 2003 engine with the more modern 2030 engine.
The unit i'm looking at doesn't have a gearbox so i will have to sort this for the install.
My current 2003 engine has the MS2B gearbox fitted, can i simply disconnect this and put it on the 2030 engine or do i need to look at aquiring a different box?
From my investigations the 2030 engines usually come with a MS2L or MS2A gearbox, whats the difference between these and the MS2B.

Thanks

Talk to your local VP dealer. They'll advise on whether your existing gearbox can be fitted. The MS2A is a 7 degree downward output shaft, the MS2L is a sraight output shaft.
