problems with the stop lever (apart from impossible to get to) Lever rotates but it's not turning the shaft that goes into the pump. Is that a common problem. It has a grub screw that's slipping on the shaft. I'm going to try to get to it via a cockpit locker but it looks very tight. Should shaft have a drilled dent to locate grub screw? Boat is an NF with 110 saildrive.

Thanks, I'm hoping someone has fixed this problem and has advice.

Not quite clear what your problem is but if it's a CAV pump the attached file should help.

Thanks, cable moves, lever moves but the shaft it is supposed to turn seems stuck.
