Anyone know where I could download one?

Trawled all the usual sites and find plenty for other engines - I am mystified why I can't find this one.

Thanks

As Robin has said, the engine is (I believe) basically the Perkins engine used in the Montego/Maestro and assorted vans. As such there is a Haynes manual available too.

I also have an MD22P (Saildrive) and I cannot find an online manual anywhere. All I want to find out is whether there is a sprung "clutch" plate (without the cluth of course). Last season there was a terrible rattle that appeared to be coming from around the top of the sail drive.

When I lifted the boat the saildrive anode was rattling around so I THINK this was the cause of the rattle. However having wrapped a warp around the prop earlier in the year (and stopped the engine dead!) I wondered if compression springs on the "clutch" cover plate may have cracked!!!.

So first off I want to find out if there is a plate and if so how could I check whether it is damaged... Hence the manual :)

Reassuring to know that it isn't just me who can't find a manual.

It just seems that it is really odd that a relatively popular engine has nothing on the internet when there is plenty on other engines.

Conspiracy???
