Volvo MD2002

I have a Volvo MD2002 twin cylinder diesel inboard with a faulty injector, due to the prohibitive costs of Volvo spares does anyone have knowledge of an equivalent injector that will fit? Or has anyone got a MD2002 that is being broken for spares that I can buy the injectors from?

Take them to your local vehicle diesol fitters,Lucas or simular,
get them to test and recondition as necessary, save yourself
a fortune, should find several in yellow pages, good luck.

Many thanks for your answer, as a consequence I have found a diesel engineers at Fleetwood (where I am berthed) and can take them in on Monday for testing/repair.

Indeed, take them to a local Bosch or Lucas service centre. You might want to replace the injector 'needle' but for the rest, no need. just clean and readjust. I've ran a yacht service company for 13 yrs and we've NEVER had to fit new injectors. Not even in a VP.
