i am having difficulty trying to find a fuel injector pump for my engine, rk marine/ volvo do not do this part any more. does any one on here know of a place who will do them, i am told mine is beyond reconditioning due to excess corrosion.
mine is running but will not stop.

Trickett Marine Products in Poole can do the fuel pump - Google TMP, Poole Volvo Penta MD1 , and there seem to be several places that do the Bosch injectors, not necessarily marine engineers. If you do get a new or refurbished injector, just make sure you get the new washers to seal the banjo pipe properly.

Good luck

Alan

Try a Bosch fuel injection shop as it is the same basic pump as in many other single cylinder engines of that era and not a Volvo part.

If you are interested in buying second-hand, I recently dismantled my MD1B and I still have the injector pump. It was working OK last time I ran the engine.

What is the problem....The whole pump as I said is a standard pump as used by Bukh and others in their single engines so contact your nearest injection specialist and take your pump along as there are different plungers and valve assemblies however he should be able to sort you out.
