Hi folks,motoring along yesterday @ 1700rpm I noticed temp. gauge rising into red sector I stopped engine & checked water levels of freshwater in expansion,ok ,but not scalding,I next checked seawater strainer,ok,seawater pump impellor ok & pumping ok. I next removed & checked thermostat it was ok I tried engine minus it & problem still there,I then removed small pipe that runs from freshwater pump to expansion tank & coolant flowed ,I believe that this pump has machined impellors and should not wear, I believe that the sender & gauge are ok as temp. of coolant in engine block was scalding. If you can give me any advise on this problem I would be grateful
