Volvo MD1 White Smoke

My Volvo MD1 started smoking recently. It was after a day where I used the engine more than I would as a rule.

I went down to it today and ran it for a while but its still smoking, not massivley but enough for me to think its not right!!

The smoke is white.

Any ideas/things to look at...... advice needed!!

Steam if it disperses/evaporates.... check total cooling water flow, then inlet, pump impeller, injection point and hoses if the flow is low. How warm is the water exiting ?

If it does not evaporate then burning engine oil ..if blueish

Unburnt diesel ... but that seems unlikley if its running OK

I am fairly sure that its smoke as apposed to steam. It may well have a blueish hue......
