I've got twin GLP-Ds (petrol) . I ran them today but the ignition(?) warning whistle on one of them wouldn't stop. Oil pressure was normal, it was charging at 14v, temperature seemed OK and there was water pumping through the outdrives.

Everything according to the instruments is OK, so is it a false alarm? Has anybody any suggestions where I should start looking?

I had this ones on a previous boat, after drive oil replacement, the reservoir wasn't full enough, and triggered the alarm, but that was on a mercruiser,
I am not sure if Volvo has a similar drive oil check system. Other triggers for the alarm if I remember well were Cooling water temp and engine oil pressure, but these are ok according your indications.
The volvo engineers on here will soon give more / better advice... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

It might be that if its the only one not instrumented. Any idea what the cause could be?

Thanks
