Hello, I have a dp-c 290 duoprop outdrive powered by a diesel engine. I recently purchased a set of A7 props to replace a set of B props. There is about a quarter inch gap BETWEEN the front and rear prop. ie when all the washers are installed and nut, cone, and bolt are tightened, there is a gap between rims of the prop hubs. The B props had no gap, just the normal clearance required to spin freely. I have both thrust washers installed in their respective places. Does anyone have experience with A props and can tell me what might be going on here or what I might be missing? There is a "cone spacer" that says its for A props, which I have, but I do not see any diagram showing this spacer going between the front and rear props. Any help on this would be much appreciated!
