hey guys,
i'm getting very little help from my local volvo penta service location and i'm wondering if someone could point me in the correct direction...
i have a customer with a d6-310 that we are replacing (trying to replace) the copper injector sleeves on. my local volvo place has sent me 2 different pullers, neither of which seem long enough for the dual overhead cam motors (pn 885502 and pn 884931 - which both seem to be some type of sleeve puller, but i'm just guessing for smaller motors)... i've tried repeatedly to talk to these guys on the phone, but i keep getting the phone equivalent to the 'blank stare' when i ask them about a different puller, so i'm really just not sure if they have ever done these on one of these motors...
so, does anyone have simply the correct part number for the puller to remove these injector sleeves from a d6? or am i just missing something silly (possible, but i've stared at this assortment of tools i've received from volvo for what seems like an eternity)....
