Volvo 290DP Prop fitting

Hi - i've got a older 290dp and when i re-fitted the props after the winter cleanup, they didn't seem to go back on very well

1st rope cutter
2nd large prop
3rd lock washer
4th lock nut
5th rope cutter
6th small prop
7th Cone & lock bolt

am i doing something wrong ?

Did you tap the rope cutters home in the props first?
I'm assuming each prop is the "right" way around.

Also, the circular area where the cone engages with the small prop needs to be cleaned off a bit.

I have a thick washer which goes on before the fwd prop. No lock washer before the locknut. Also, I dont have ropecutters.
