Volvo 290 DP-D1 Steering.

How is the pin removed from the steering arm link, fixed to the outdrive lever?
There is a lock tab washer over the pin, but the pin refuses to move. I presumed it came upwards after bending back the tabs.
I didn't want to apply more force in case I had missed the obvious. Any clues?

Have you got the power steering hydraulic system fitted to it?
