Volvo 280 leg question

Hi there, just a quick question:-

On the 280 leg, there is a bolt you need to unscrew before you take off the cone to take off the Prop....

Something tells me it doesn't undo the usual way (anti-clockwise) but clockwise. It's siezed on a bit, and I don't want to use the impact driver the wrong way...

On the 290 and DP drives the bolt works the usual way......

I've just been through the manual and the only mention of left hand nuts is for the odd internal nut. No mention of the bolt or cone nuts being left handed on any prop.I do remember when i did the 280's on the Princess, that i was expecting one cone nut to be left handed and it wasn't.

On my 280s the alan bolt undoes in normal direction ie anti-clockwise.

Good question ! unable to tell you.
None of the keys on my metric keyring fitted so ended up using a mystery alan key from my box of oddball rust encrusted stuff which I seem unable to throw away.

From memory, i'd say they are 5/16 bolts, taking a 1/4 allen key.
