Volvo 2030 - please put my mind at rest

As I understand it, there is no type of engine anode on my fresh water cooled 1995 Volvo 2030. Engine is running calorifier.

Please could the forum put my mind to rest on this as there seems to be different opinions on this and although I cannot find any reference in the manual to any anode, it is niggling the back of my mind. Cheers

I stripped my 2040 down a year or so ago and didn't find an anode - although I didn't strip the heat exchanger down...

My 2020 does not have one.

None of the 20' series engines have anodes, nor any of the big stuff like KAD 300 and D series, Volvo have done away with anodes as they often broke off and caused more problems by blocking coolers etc.

ive had my 2030 into lots of bits and havent found one, plus i suapect the big sticker on the gear box about not connecting to earth has something to do with it.

there are no anodes on the penta series as they are electrically isolated from any metal work (arent they!!), in the manual and on the revesre gear there is a sticker to this effect.

i have a volvo penta md2010, and havent found one in it, though ive not looked that much.
