I am looking at purchasing a boat which has a 1987 Volvo 2003 diesel engine. I will be getting it checked over, but would appreciate it if anyone could give me any pointers as to what to look out for; eg, what should the compression be? Are spares easily obtainable? Any advice would be welcome.
