Volvo 2003 oil pressure guage

Does anyone have the 'de-luxe' 2003 fitted with a pressure GUAGE as well as the more normal warning lamp. If so could you describe the fitting on the engine which allows both the lamp sender and the pressure transducer? I want to add a transducer but find I will need a 'T' to allow both units to remain in place. The tapping point is at the front of the engine behind the fuel filter (on mine) just above the oil filter.

ALTERNATIVELY, does anyone know a GOOD Volvo support place that I can put the same question to - all the ones I've tried simply don't answer. Why can we not access Volvo Penta central office somewhere?

ASAP quoted me for a set of water temp and oild pressure guages for a 2003 about a year ago. They probably have the correct T piece.

Check out the parts manual on the Beneteau Owners website - probably best to copy it to your hard drive because it may not be online for long! On page 45 you'll see all the parts, cross-referenced to the parts list. There are different oil pressure sender arrangements, depending on whether you have a 2003 or a 2003T.

I have a 2003T and I find that Volspec are very knowledgeable and helpful for parts and advice.
