Ahoy! Unfortunately that’s all I know about sailing but hope someone can suggest troubleshooting my Vitrifrigo (VF62 24V) refrigerator. It’s 3 years old and now continues to cycle on/off as much as 25 times per minute. Not only is it annoying but not good for the compressor. Other than that, it cools and freezes good.

I contacted Vitrifrigo and they said possibly due to voltage drop, but the circuit seems fine. Thnx for any input! Cheers

Thnx all for the input!
I should mention the fridge doesn’t cycle all the time, kinda frustrating. Anyway I monitored volts as it cycled and didn’t notice significant voltage drop. Power source is a LiFePO4 24V battery bank.

I’ll ask Vitrifrigo about the thermostat.

there are some nice resources on these Danfoss compressor fridges (guess that's what this one has) and their controllers.
if the run from lifepo4 bank to fridge is not massive with v.thin wires you can rule out voltage!
Before trying to find if the thermostat is to blame (I'd give it a 90% chance tbh) you could short the thermostat wires to the controller and see if it works without issues for ever (freezing everything in the process I guess...)
if you're unsure, post a pic of the controller with the spade terminals and someone here can help

V.
