Vistaprint and VP rewards Possible Scam?

Bought some business cards for my boat name and telephone no etc from Vista print and now find that after payment for the cards there is situation where the small print charges my credit card with a regular monthly payment of £9.95. to a company called VPrewards.com apparently for no services I ever intended to accept . Anybody else hit by this scam ?

Others please watch the small print with this company
 
There was someone complaining about this in the Lounge the other day.

There is an opt out box on the order form apparently, that you must have left ticked.
 
You usually have to get them to stop taking the payment .. My Card Company refused to stop a monthly transaction and referred me to the company that was taking the payment .. So just lost the card .. You then get a new one and all payments have to be re authorised .. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif but know one tells you that ......

It was I

IIRC There is a innocent appearing box marked "do you want to take part in the VP awards programme". No mention of monthly charge but possibly somewhere else in the small print. The £9.95 pm is then taken from your CC which you only gave them details of to cover the postage charge.

As others have said its a scam.

My CC at first refused to refund these amounts but latter relented and refunded all the monthly amounts. I contacted VP rewards and cancelled membership.
